Ahhh…good old Blackstreet. Members came and went, but this joint right here is timeless. Good old fashion R&B baby. My pleasure to bring it back…

I mentioned this track toCindy on our way back from the gym (after commenting on her Trey Songz tweet) and how this used to be MY JAM back in 97 and instant nostalgia kicked in for the both of us. From me mentioning the fact that I used to spell my name (which happens to fit in perfectly) during the rap part to her commenting on how cool Usher was trying to look with his guitar, Nice and Slow is the type of song to definitely instigate memories for a lot of us.

Bringin’ it back to classic 90s slow jams with this one.

Ahh….good old 80’s music. Tears For Fears will always be pinned to the cork board that houses the list of my favorite English pop rock bands. In other words..TFF rocks. This track is a classic. Yup, I brought it back

One of 2002’s finest right here. I Need A Girl is rare in that it had two parts, which both charted very high on Billboard. This track is my jam and personal anthem. Let’s bring it back…..

Gosh, this track brings back so many memories. 2001 was a good year, and Kylie Minogue made a classic with this one. Let’s bring it back…..

I haven’t posted a Jay-Z track in a while. There’s no doubt that the Blueprint album is one of my favorite Jay LP’s ever. Ain’t No Love has that great soulful sound, and Jay murders it. Before Blueprint 2 or 3, there was the first, and I’d like to bring it back….

Gosh, I haven’t heard this track in awhile. Babyface is known for his soulful baby making music, but on his Face 2 Face album he experimented with some more modern uptempo sounds. Stressed Out was produced by the Neptunes, and i’m glad to bring it back…

So I’m driving home from work last night, and this song happens to play on my Zune. Yeah baby, it’s a bad ass Blackstreet song, and I had totally forgotten about it, but now I get to bring it back. Enjoy.

Whether it’s the sensual whispering, sexual vibe, or some other abstract reason, N.E.R.D’s Hypnotize You totally reminds me of one of my favorite (and underrated) songs by Michael Jackson, In The Closest. I included another slept-on track off the Dangerous album as an added bonus.

Keepin’ it sexy, baby.

*Nsync and the Neptunes. This song still sounds great all these years later. It was a more mature sound for the guys, and it worked perfectly.
